The tall rusty seed heads of the Dock plant dot the field with carpets of Corn Mint fragrant underfoot.  Large clumps of Common Yarrow are strewn with yellow…..  Cat’s Ears and the Sow Thistle.  It is  mild and the grass hoppers are still about, clicking as they go, in attempts to attract a mate.

'Down the Field'  has been a year long project depicting the seasonal and monthly changes in the flora and fauna, inspired by my daily morning walk with Dotty.  There is a strong nod to the Arts and Crafts Movement in their design, which is echoed in the framing.

Framing - Beautifully framed in a high end moulding with deep bevel mount and Art Glass, which reduces reflection but also shows the colours as their true hue.
