Cultivated Raspberries have got away into the field, fruiting until the first frost, the canes providing a perfect home for the spiders to string their webs. It’s been a good years for mushrooms and fungi too.  The Meadowsweet have been and gone but the clusters of perfect seeds remain, like tiny ball bearings.  An intriguing variety of compact late Persicaria are found underfoot.

'Down the Field'  has been a year long project depicting the seasonal and monthly changes in the flora and fauna, inspired by my daily morning walk with Dotty.  There is a strong nod to the Arts and Crafts Movement in their design, which is echoed in the framing.

Framing - Beautifully framed in a high end moulding with deep bevel mount and Art Glass, which reduces reflection but also shows the colours as their true hue.
