Now in full flow the Spring flowers we associate with the Dales area arrive. Carpets of Bluebells and Wild Garlic, the colour so bright and beautiful are looked forward to every year.  Less obvious but just as cheery are the Lesser Celandine and the little dangling bells of the Fringe Cups.  The Sand Martins return to their nests burrowed into the banks of the Nidd, and swoop on the swell that carries the flies.

'Down the Field'  has been a year long project depicting the seasonal and monthly changes in the flora and fauna, inspired by my daily morning walk with Dotty.  There is a strong nod to the Arts and Crafts Movement in their design, which is echoed in the framing.

Framing - Beautifully framed in a high end moulding with deep bevel mount and Art Glass, which reduces reflection but also shows the colours as their true hue.
