The Barn Owl hunts through the day and evening during the low light month of December, tirelessly out to spot and capture the tiny vole.  Despite the lack of flowers blooming the trees are decorated in creeping Ivy and brightly colloured Lichens…..  almost fluorescent in hue.  A sense of nature slowing, recouping, storing for the year to come but the river continues to run through.

'Down the Field'  has been a year long project depicting the seasonal and monthly changes in the flora and fauna, inspired by my daily morning walk with Dotty.  There is a strong nod to the Arts and Crafts Movement in their design, which is echoed in the framing.

Framing - Beautifully framed in a high end moulding with deep bevel mount and Art Glass, which reduces reflection but also shows the colours as their true hue.
