The River Burn starts high up near Dale Edge in Upper Nidderdale and journeys down to the river Ure near Masham just  19 k's away.  It is full of charcter... twisting and turning, and is a favourite revisited location in all seasons and different times of year.  This stretch is not far from Fearby.
