Just another few miles up the dale from my Ramsgill Studio is the pretty village of Lofthouse.  Nearby is a beautiful old aquaduct and the beautiful Blayshaw Gill, mostly running through private land although there is a footpath which crosses it.  This is one of the lower sections of the gill just off the Nidderdale Way
