Upper Swaledale is probably my favourite place to explore, walk and sketch after Nidderdale.  These falls aren't the easiest to paint because of the lay of the land.....  you try to get a good position, but are either too close, too far away, or the view is obscured.  I took down a couple of trees for this view!
